My Thoughts
When I saw this charging station at Whole Foods I was really excited. I immediately got out of my car and went to go check what company it was. I was thrilled to see that it went public via spac. (I think these are some of the best investments you can make when you see it in person) My other thought was if it is in a Whole Foods parking lot it must be the top of the line technology because Whole Foods is owned by Amazon which tries to get their hands on everything. (nice to see it has many patents) If i’m right about EVs (at least 60% of Millennials with a degree will own an EV by 2035) then this could make for a HUGE investment. Chargepoint is leading the way. I downloaded their app and it is very user friendly. The stock is extremely expensive at 6.72 billion market cap but this will be VERY HIGH on my watchlist. I may even start adding this week. I say this because my next car will be an EV and its highly likely I will be using this stations in the future so why not own where you spend. This is speculative stock that could pay off in the long run.

My Position
I have not started a position as I just became aware of this company this weekend. Chargepoint is down 34.22% in the past month. Friday it traded down all the way to $19.85 and closed the day at $26.99. Very strong recovery on a massive down day. I may start buying some shares this week and build my position over the next couple months since I fully except some volatility this week.
There is a lot of uncertainty in the market right now with the 10y being over 1.5% and inflation concerns. So I will be careful adding speculative plays like this one but I do like this company a lot right now.
